Women-Only Carry Concealed
Arm yourself with knowledge. All of us want to have the ability to protect ourselves and the people we care about while understanding our personal responsibilities as law-abiding gun owners. Range 54 specifically created this course to accomplish these exact objectives. Our instructors are highly experienced in preparing people of all backgrounds to have the confidence, knowledge, and skills to safely carry a concealed handgun.
Attending Range 54’s Carry Concealed Handgun class meets the requirements of the State of Kansas to obtain a CCH license. That being said, this class is not teaching you how to shoot, but when it is legal to shoot. If you have never shot before please consider an introductory class first. In 2021, the State of Kansas passed a law allowing 18-20-year-olds to obtain a CCH license. Students in that age range must bring their own gun and ammunition. The law does not allow us to rent/loan guns or sell pistol caliber ammunition to people under 21. This class will be taught in a women-only and co-ed class for the comfort of all of our students.
What to bring: 25–50 rounds (required)
Cost: $100.00

Tashina’s Experience
“I have been coming to Range 54 for a few years now. My favorite part is the staff. They’re so professional, and they’re really good people.
I was afraid to carry and felt really uncomfortable; I didn’t know my way around a gun. After taking the women’s beginner courses, I learned the basic, elementary aspects of shooting a gun, and I gained so much confidence. I learned how to shoot, and I felt much more confident. Now, I actually carry.
Some of the classes that I’ve taken are concealed carry, the women’s beginner courses, part one and two, and the self-defense class. They were all amazing. I am currently doing private lessons for one-on-one training, fine-tuning my aiming and technique.
I hope I never have to use a gun, but if I do, I feel that I’d be more confident and that I have the tools through all the courses that I’ve taken here at Range 54 to defend myself if necessary.”
